Travelling through spanish cities always lets me find a lot of spanish chains that may not be known by all foreigners. Of course all know chains like Zara or Massimo Dutti, those who are part of the really big Inditex Group. The Inditex Group also is the owner of the mostly in Spain seen Zara Kids, Zara Home, Pull and Bear (mostly jeans and more sporty), Bershka (the young line), Stradivarius (when i was young it was the “hippy” line- maybe still), Oysho (underwear) and Uterqüe (Bags and small leather goods/2008).
Behind that I assume everybody knows Mango (that has the biggest design center in Europe!) and maybe also MI SA KO, the €30 (now, before it was €20) bag store that is hard to leave without a bag. I didnt know Uterqüe before I saw it in Madrid and I have to say: MI SA KO got great competition. This time I did not buy any bag… not only because I hadn’t any space left in my luggage, but also because the MI SA KO bags weren’t so tempting as usual.
But we have much more
And Spain is a country where you can find fashion nearly everywhere. (And I will explore some new things in the future for you- but before someone gets there first I keep it for myself *g*)
Back to the chains! I will present you some of them in the next week… maybe you like them and pass by the next time you are there.
Starting with the first I have in mind…
Blanco

I found my favourite summer dress there (as on the quite old pic- unfortunately you cant see everything because of my scarf – dont look at the hair!
). As I do not have a point how I dress up and you can neraly can find a continous line in my wardrope – this time it got a little bit hippy and I have to say for that prize it was a joke: €15 at sales- sometimes you have luck
Blanco is a spanish company from Madrid. It is said that they work like the Inditex Group, but mostly they have slightly higher or same prizes and sometimes they have really nice designs (like this fall/ winter collection) I always have a look and sometimes I find something nice to combine with something I already have. or something completely knew.. like my dress *g* But does not happen very often.
Unfortunately they seem not o have a working Webpage, but people on Facebook have made a Fanpage asking for an online shop. So maybe we can shop in the future from home
More tomorrow!
Bye!
